Conditions of the Сard contracts for private clients will be amended

This is to inform that during the period from 14 April 2020 up until 1 July 2020, AS “PrivatBank” (the Bank) is transferring to a new IT customer service system.

The objective of the transition is to ensure the unified IT system, improving functionality and processes for processing and supporting financial transactions.

After transition to the new IT system, some conditions of the following card contracts and fees will be amended:

  • Contract on Opening, Servicing of the VISA Platinum Card Account and Granting Credit Limit;
  • Contract on Opening, Servicing of the UNIVERSAL VISA Classic Card Account and Granting Credit Limit;
  • Contract on Opening, Servicing of the UNIVERSAL VISA GOLD Card Account and Granting Credit Limit.

Further Card credit limit interest for the use of the card credit limit or its part will not be calculated for 45 (forty five) calendar days, if the amount of the credit limit used in the previous months is repaid in full by the 15th day of the following month. Until the present time, the Card credit limit interest was not calculated for the first 30 (thirty) calendar days of the use of the Card credit limit or its part from the date of the credit limit use.

The Bank will inform you separately about the date of implementation of the new IT system.

If the Bank will not receive a notice on early termination of the card contract up until transition to the new IT system, it will be assumed that you agree to the above-mentioned amendments, and the card contract concluded between you and the Bank will remain in force under new conditions.

If you provide the Bank with the notice on early termination of the Card contract up until transition to the new IT system, you will be obliged to fulfil all liabilities towards the Bank undertaken under the relevant Card contract until transition to the new IT system. After fulfilment of all liabilities in full, the Bank will terminate the relevant Card contract before the end thereof.
